Engelbert Humperdinck is a British pop singer described who achieved international prominence in 1967 with his recording of Release Me. The Way It Used To Be was released by him as a single in 1969. It is an English language adaptation of the Italian language song "Melodia," which was originally released by Isabella Iannetti in 1968. The song was a top ten hit in multiple countries, and in the United States, spent 11 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 42, while reaching number 4 on Billboard's Easy Listening chart. This single is in Very Good Plus condition, as is its original picture sleeve.
