Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band formed in London in 1967 by guitarist and singer Peter Green. Green named the band by combining the surnames of drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie, who have remained with the band throughout its many line-up changes. Fleetwood Mac have sold more than 120 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling bands. The Farmer's Daughter is a song by the Beach Boys, originally solely credited to Brian Wilson, although Mike Love was later awarded a writing credit. In 1980, a live recording of Fleetwood Mac doing the song, from the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, was used on their Live album. In an interview with BAM magazine, Lindsey Buckingham explained that he had "always been a Brian Wilson fan, and so much of what he’s done has either gone over people’s heads or been ignored for one reason or another...'Farmer's Daughter' probably could've been a successful single for them if they'd released it." He further stated that the band selected the song for inclusion on Live due to its relative obscurity. Later that year, the song was released as a single in North America, Australia, and various countries in continental Europe. It only charted in Austria, where it debuted and peaked at number six. This promo copy single is in Very Good Plus condition. Its original picture sleeve is in Very Good condition with some minor wear.
