The Fontaine Sisters were a trio (Bea, Geri and Marge Rosse) from New Milford, New Jersey who performed and recorded in the years 1941-1961. At some point in the 1950s they dropped the "i" in their name. Toward the beginning part of their career, the trio sang backup vocals for Perry Como and were regular guests on his radio and television shows. The group chose the name Fontane after the french surname "Fontaine" of the great-grandmother of French-Canadian descent. This 10" album was released with the Novelty Orchestra and Organ on the B side in 1955. Both the record and the sleeve are in Very Good Plus condition. This record does not have an inner sleeve.
