Jefferson Airplane was an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1965. One of the pioneering bands of psychedelic rock, the group defined the San Francisco Sound and was the first from the Bay Area to achieve international commercial success. They headlined the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, the first Isle of Wight Festival in 1968 in England, Woodstock in 1969, and the Altamont Free Concert (also in 1969.) Their 1967 breakout album Surrealistic Pillow was one of the most significant recordings of the Summer of Love. This compilation 2 record set was released in 1984, and contains tracks taken from their 1960s albums. This one comes from my personal collection. Both records and the sleeve are in Very Good Plus condition.
