Kim Carnes is an American singer and songwriter born and raised in Los Angeles. A veteran writer of many of her own hits, as well as those for numerous other artists, she began her career in 1966 as a member of folk group the New Christy Minstrels, before embarking on a solo career as a songwriter and performer in the early 1970s, playing in local clubs. Her breakout year was 1980, when Carnes' cover of Smokey Robinson's  More Love, from her fifth album, Romance Dance, hit number 10. The following year, Carnes released the chart-topping single Bette Davis Eyes. Both hit songs are here on this single, released in 1986 as part of Capitol Records' Silver Spotlight Series. The single is in Very Good Plus condition. It comes with a very nice record company sleeve.
