Mac Davis was an American songwriter, singer, performer, and actor. A native of Lubbock, Texas, he enjoyed success as a crossover artist. He wrote songs for Elvis Presley during his early career, providing him with the hits "Memories", "In The Ghetto", and "A Little Less Conversation". A subsequent solo career in the 1970s produced several hits. Davis also starred in his own variety show, a Broadway musical, and various films and TV shows. Stop and Smell the Roses is a 1974 album by Mac Davis.  It peaked at number 2 on the US country albums chart and number 13 on the overall albums chart. The record is in Very Good condition, the sleeve in Very Good Plus condition.
