Sam Cooke was an American singer and songwriter. Considered one of the most influential soul artists of all time, Cooke is commonly referred to as the "King of Soul" for his distinctive vocals, pioneering contributions to the genre, and significance in popular music. He died in 1964. Only Sixteen was released in May 1959. It was a top 15 hit on Billboard's Hot R&B Sides chart and also charted within the top 30 of the Billboard Hot 100. The song was inspired by the sixteenth birthday of Lou Rawls's stepsister, Eunice. This single is in Very Good Plus condition.
