This is a song written and originially performed by the American soul singer Sam Cooke. The song has since become a pop standard, covered by numerous artists of different genres. This version by The Animals, released in 1965 as a single, was recorded in tribute to the then-recently killed Cooke. It was their last single to include original organist Alan Price. It reached number 32 on the US Hot 100. This single is in Very Good condition, with a BB hole in the label.
