The Band was a Canadian-American rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario in 1957. It consisted of Canadians Rick Danko (bass, guitar, vocals, fiddle), Garth Hudson (organ, keyboards, accordion, saxophone), Richard Manuel (piano, drums, vocals), Robbie Robertson (guitar, vocals, piano, percussion), and American Levon Helm (drums, vocals, mandolin, guitar, bass). The Band's music combined elements of Americana, folk, rock, jazz, and country. The song Don't Do It was recorded by The Band numerous times. The lead singer was Levon Helm, with backing vocals by Rick Danko and Richard Manuel. It reached #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the autumn of 1972; the track was the second and final Top 40 single for the Band. This single is in Very Good Plus condition.
