Cotton Fields (The Cotton Song) is a song written by American blues musician Huddie Ledbetter, better known as Lead Belly. American rock band The Beach Boys recorded Cottonfields in 1969,  which afforded The Beach Boys their most widespread international success while also denoting the end of the group's hit-making career in the US. While underperforming in the United States (peaking at #103 on Billboard) despite a promotional appearance on the short-lived variety show Something Else, the song succeeded across the Atlantic, reaching #5 on the UK Singles Chart. This single is in Very Good Plus condition with some small initials written on side A label.

***We use the Goldmine Grading Guide, a universally accepted standard for representing the condition of physical music in the resale market. The levels range from Mint (perfect) down to Fair/Poor (damaged). All singles are shipped in a crisp white sleeve, unless otherwise specified, with a plastic outer sleeve. If you are looking for a song we don't have, send a message and we'll look for it! Happy grooving!***
