Surfin' U.S.A. is a song by the Beach Boys, credited to Chuck Berry and Brian Wilson. It is a rewritten version of Berry's "Sweet Little Sixteen" set to new lyrics written by Wilson and an uncredited Mike Love. The song was released as a single on March 4, 1963, and peaked at number three on the Billboard chart. It has since become emblematic of the California Sound, depicting them as “enjoying all the material benefits of the promised land (typified by southern California) … liberty and security are accommodated at drive-in and drag strip, on surf board and in T-Bird, from hamburger stand to beach party..." This single is in Good Plus condition, with some wear to labels and a sticker on the side B label.

***We use the Goldmine Grading Guide, a universally accepted standard for representing the condition of physical music in the resale market. The levels range from Mint (perfect) down to Fair/Poor (damaged). All singles are shipped in a crisp white sleeve, unless otherwise specified, with a plastic outer sleeve. If you are looking for a song we don't have, send a message and we'll look for it! Happy grooving!***
