The Gentrys were an American band of the 1960s and early 1970s. In 1970 they recorded an album on Sam Phillips's Sun label and put two singles into the Billboard Hot 100: this song, Why Should I Cry (which peaked at number 61 on March 7, 1970) and Cinnamon Girl, charting before Neil Young's version. This single is in Very Good Plus condition with a small BB hole in the label.

***We use the Goldmine Grading Guide, a universally accepted standard for representing the condition of physical music in the resale market. The levels range from Mint (perfect) down to Fair/Poor (damaged). For more information on gradings, please see our home page. All singles are freshly cleaned and play tested and shipped in a crisp white inner sleeve covered with a protective vinyl outer, unless otherwise specified. If you are looking for a song we don't have, send a message and we'll look for it! Happy grooving!***
